Why Our Catalog Is Dry-Only Right Now

Reconstituted and liquid formulations come with handling requirements that a shipping box cannot always survive. Here is why PSG currently lists dry products only.

Look through the PSG catalog and you will notice something missing: liquid and reconstituted formats. That is not an oversight in the listing. It is a current sourcing decision, and it is worth explaining because clinics ask.

The problem with shipping a prepared product

A lyophilized powder is stable, compact, and forgiving in transit. A prepared liquid solution is none of those things. It is temperature-sensitive, time-sensitive, and sensitive to how long the parcel sits on a loading dock.

Once a product requires cold chain from our door to yours, the supplier's quality controls stop at the point of handoff to a carrier. Every hour of a routing delay, every missed refrigeration scan, and every transfer between facilities happens outside our visibility.

Why we would rather tell you now

A distributor that quietly lists liquid formats and hopes for the best is transferring a risk it cannot manage onto the clinic that receives the box. If the material arrives outside specification, the clinic absorbs the loss and the patient relationship absorbs the disappointment.

So we list what we can supply reliably. Wet and liquid products remain visible in the clinic ordering area as out of stock rather than being deleted, so nothing is hidden — the availability status is simply honest.

What this means when you order

Dry products order, ship, and invoice normally, with a flat standard shipping rate on the invoice. If you have a specific requirement for a liquid or reconstituted format, tell our team before you build an order — we would rather have that conversation up front than discover it at fulfillment.

Cold-pack shipping exists in our system at a flat rate for orders that require it, and it will come back into use if the supply chain around it becomes dependable.
